Red stained dove galloped playfully about the lands. She was slowly shifting her love from sept to argo. She loved it here where the wind blew and she could race it for all she was worth.. she wished it could have been the same with sept but she guessed they just werent meant to be. She no longer had flash backs and remained in reality at all times. she was doing her best to make a good impression on her new family and she hoped they noticed...
Her wavering lyrics broke the silent whisper of the after noon. she waited and listened for an anwser. harks pointed forward sharply. The many harmonizing songs of birds flittered and floated to her pounding drums. It sounded so beautiful and could enchant you anywhere. She wasn't aware of the coyotes slowly sneaking up on her. About 12 of them, hunting for a worthy dinner....

The whispers of the waving grasses comforted his worried mindset, lulling him into a state of tranquility as he grazed calmly among them. Powerful jaws ground on the lush stems as his mocha gaze drifted across the waves of green. Nothing seemed out of place to his keen senses, although he would have been happier if the others were within sight range. It was worrisome not having them by his side, for even in this state of relaxed peace, things could happen...
Relief calmed him slightly as his auds flicked towards Vivian's tones, skull turning as he sought her with his eyes. A cheerful reply broke through the air as he wheeled, pistons kicking into motion so that he might come to meet her. The solid sounds of his footsteps overrode the whispering of the grass, becoming more distinguished as his pace quickened, harks tilting towards his skull. Eyes narrowed as he bore down on the canines, flag held aloft and hoofbeats definite through the calm. The stallion's head snaked forth menacingly, eyes glittering with angry lights. They didn't particularly alarm him, but they were not welcome within his lands, for, although coyotes could hardly injure a member of the small yet strong herd, a foal or even a lone equine caught off guard was in danger. Argo wasn't particularly fond of them, either. Best they be gone... He pulled to a stop beside Vivian, sides rising and falling as he glared about.
"You should be a bit more careful."
Whickering quietly to soften the remark, he nudged her with the side of his handsome skull before lifting it to look around, ribbons fluttering as he wondered after River, at the same time thinking he was perhaps a bit overprotective. ((Blech.))

Crimson dove looked after the mighty brute as he also caught her off guard by attacking the wolves. she kept her ground. tensing her muscles. after they were gone and her lord came to stand beside her she besided her worry and lowered her head. mug grazing the prickly tips of the greenery. Velviteen rubbed against him with affection. She wanted a foal though she had no idea how river would react to what the red was about to ask her almighty steed that remained at her side. harks were tossed about as she finally looked up and gazed out upon the windswept region. The other lands were going unkown and other stags were moving in. Would the world change? She so deeply hoped sept would lose his rule over astarte but that was rude and the thought disappeared before it could do anymore damage to her loving dreamer...
Looking up into the ebon studs Mocha pools. She loved his so and wanted to be his lead, but that would have to be decided between him, river, and she. But he loved the alabaster maiden and vivian had small hopes of ever becoming leadress. But she would never give up. she held his gaze. Showing her love and loyalty to him she asked quietly in ringing but soothing tones hoping he would grant her the wish she seeked....
" Argo I'd like to ask you something very important.......May I be gifted with a foal? "
Good it was out. But if she hadn't been scarlette already you would swear she turned as red as blood with embarrasment. She had no doubt her lord would most likely turn down her request..She looked away with fear glazing over her violet sockets. flattening her lobes with shame over herself at asking him such a stupid question. I mean she just met him and already wanted a foal! She felt so deeply she was being selfish and greedy and in a way sort of knew she was....
" I shouldn't have asked you that....I must be so selfish with no respect..."
Red maiden waited to see what the ebonite leader would reply and if he even did....

ooc: Ooh.. just to be a pain River shall come along ;D
The peace had been draped over the land too long now, she thought. Time to herself was greatly appreciated, but too much of it and things became tedious. She had no idea where Vivian and Argo were about this land, together or apart, were they even in the lands? River had spent most of her time towards the outskirts of the land, getting to know the places she hadn't yet had the opportunity to wander. Time was a queer thing indeed, while she'd been wandering it seemed as though everything had slowed down, come to a standstill almost. The call which Vivian let loose seemed to break the spell, bringing River to the realisation that she'd been alone more than a few days, and that she'd seen nothing of the other too.
Her flutes swung, determining the direction in which Vivian lay, she hadn't had much of a chance to get to know the other mare, she'd take advantage of the opportunity. Her hooves were placed hesitantly at first, as though she wasn't quite sure of the direction but the pace soon quickened. Her movements were fluid, appendages covering the most ground possible as she crossed the fields before her, shaking off her boredom and brightening her mood just through the sheer thrill of the quick carelessness of her own movements. She was vaguely aware of other creatures in the land, but their effect on her was minimal. River had seen enough of wild beasts in the lands she was born in to know what they were capable of, as she was equally aware of her own abilities.
Her movements slowed back to a walk, a much more bouncy one than she'd started out at. Silver cranium was held highly, its carriage imitated by the silver banner at her rear. A single flute flicked, the sound of not one but both equine comforting indeed. Bleached chains were shaken roughly aside as she approached the others, harks picking up fragments of what Vivian was saying, entirely unintentionally. "Argo... important.. gifted.. foal" She raised her dial, she was stood behind Vivian but Argo had probably caught sight of her, perhaps the same time as Vivian began to speak even. Crescents quivered gently, as far as she could gather Vivian wanted something, a foal? That surprised River, Vivian only seemed young.. River hadn't even thought on the matter of foals until well into her fourth year, that came as another surprise, that she could have thought on it almost without realising. Her expression trained into a mask of impassivity she stood still, disliking the idea of eavesdropping greatly, she hadn't done that had she..? It had been sheer coincidence she'd caught what the roan was saying.
The silver dove was too absorbed in the workings of her own mind to catch Vivian's second sentence, and so she forced her appendages back into movement. Her hoof-beats seemed much louder now, perhaps a trick of her mind, she had half a mind to turn back, not to intrude on such a personal request- she didn't. She'd come to find company, and company she'd found. Closing the distance between her and the others she schooled her expression into one a little brighter, trying not to let her thoughts or that which she shouldn't have heard affect her manner.
River had forced her own thoughts back and now stood again, banner held aloft and forelock falling casually over a hazel pool. She looked first at Vivian, forcing herself to nod politely, then turned to Argo, flicking her harks forwards and half smiling, the simple action betraying her slightly. It didn't matter to River what Vivian did and didn't want, quite frankly it was none of her business. Argo mattered though, didn't he? It was the extent of her affection for the mascu which became apparent with her smile, a slight brightening in her overall expression. She didn't speak, just took comfort from the presence of the others, quite aware that her arrival may or may not have altered the circumstances.

Flutes leaned in towads the roan, her speech rippling across his consciensce slowly. A deep emotion reflected in her eyes, one that drew his own spirit in towards hers. Argo held a deep amount of devotion towards both his mares; although he would not call it love, for some strange aversion to the word, he felt the emotion fluttering through Vivian's gaze deep in his own chest. Nonetheless, surprise registered on his face as she voiced her question. Eyes the hue of dark, rich earth swiveled in their sockets beneath a thick curtain of ebon forelock. The stud shifted backwards slowly, grasses rustling against his long legs, to study her for a moment. He hardly knew what to say...
Inspiration came to him with her second statement, though, reproving of her feelings towards herself. His gaze trained itself on River as he spoke, the second femme's presence filling his senses with slight confusion. It was only momentary, though, for the stallion's pride was quickly gaining hold of him once more, instructing him against making a total fool of himself before the two doves, more dear to him than even the heaven he ruled over as lead. Handsome crown descended in a slow nod as his eyes turned back towards Vivian, warm and agreeable. Long strands of forelock fell into his gaze, obscuring the white dead center on his forehead as he spoke, lyrics softly breaking the accustomed silence.
"No, dear, I don't see that in you."
Pistons brought his bulk towards her side, kissers parting to land a soft nip towards the mare's withers before his rump swung around, body facing her once more, but off at an angle so that he could view both of the pair at once, watching River with interest. He didn't want to upset her by seeming to ignore the pretty dove, but she seemed troubled enough by the thought of eavesdropping. Shaking his head to repress an amused chuckle, Argo continued.
"It would do for this herd to be blessed with a foal; we of the wind find our numbers dwindling, and new life is a welcome event. Come spring, this herd shall hopefully be blessed with a new foal."
Argo dipped his regal skull once more, comfortable with his answer, and whickered softly to River, asking her wordlessly to quit worrying and come forward. Did the mare have any hard feelings? He doubted it; neither of them were really close enough to spur jealousy, unless he read the dove wrong. Then, perhaps, there would be setting things to rights... But that was between the femmes, not he, for he had no quarrel with either of them. Breathing deeply, the stallion turned his gaze towards the heavens as a chill breeze swept ghostly fingers through his mane.
"Come spring..."
An echo of his previous words passed softly from the stallion's maw, nearly too quiet to be understood, or even percieved. A shadow of solemn grief wandered over his proud visage before he turned back towards the two living beings near him, shaking his dark head so tendrils of mane splashed across his crest. ((Sucky... Thanx for being patient. Sorry Vivian, we'll have to wait a bit until breeding's allowed.))[/size]
