Well. This was... interesting. A sturdy Lipizzan stallion stood proudly on the ground, feeling his hooves gradually sinking into it because of moisture. It didn't matter. This place was beautiful. It seemed like something September's father would have wanted him to own. His parents, named after months like him, had been the thingyy leads of a strange land. Sept rarely missed those times. October, who was his father, always liked the best, the absolute best. Astarte seemed the best. This was the Water Region. Well, duh. I mean, look at the water. So, Sept had come here in pure interest. It was, as stated before, interesting. Everything interesting caught Sept's attention. Like the forest that was his supposed fate back at home.
Sept snapped himself from his daydream. To scout around for any flaws, that was key. He moved himself around, shuffling the wet dirt. His ears pounded with the drop of the massive amounts of water falling from cliffs. He shut his eyes and clenched his teeth. Again, something to get used to. He continued looking around. Sept came to a soft spit of land close to one of the waterfalls. There was a sort of 'squish' then a suck as Sept pulled his hoof away from the spot. Quicksand? No. Just a dangerous place he shouldn't travel. Making a mental note of the location, the stallion trotted away to find more flaws. The place had to be safe enough for him and his future mares to stay in. One bad spot was better than two, although two he could handle too.
Overall, the place was decent. Sept sighed contentedly. Yes, he would. He looked up at the sky, feeling refreshed from his travel. It was nice. To be home again.
