Altair grinned wryly just the same back at him. Not quite. Is there are more solid stretch of land, convenient for galloping safely? As for most equines, running is one of my passions. She looked at each place he mentioned, and made a mental note for each. Some things were good to know. It was natural for any horse to look out for predators, but sinkholes were not so common. It would help to know what kind of predators were here, but she wouldn’t push Sept. She dropped calling him ‘my lord’ title, some preferred it, some didn’t, and in his case he didn’t.

[yay, two pages!]
Sept blinked, the same smile still on his muzzle. Ah. You enjoy the good run? I'm sure that there must be.. He trailed off, thinking. Perhaps where Indira and Astarte meet? The ground can't be so saturated there. Sept finished with a nod of the head. Shall we go investigate? He asked, looking around eagerly. The wetness on his coat had nearly dryed, his tail still sopping wet and hanging limply. Cantering is safe on Astarte's soaked grounds. Sept mused. Only, it could make you slip if you got on the wrong part of ground. He trotted a bit of the ways off, squinting. He looked back at Altair, still smiling wryly. But, his smile dissappated. Listen, Altair. I have some business to do.. In the claiming hills. You don't mind staying here by yourself, do you? Unless you want to come with..? Sept shook his head. No, she wouldn't want to go with him to the claiming hills. I'll.. I'll be back soon, I promise. Follow me if you like! He smiled warmly then burst into a canter towards the claiming hills. Something told him a mare was there, waiting..

Altair snorted. She could take care of herself. Then again, Sept might be tripping over himself in worry that she might get jealous. Really, the only mares that got on her nerves were the pretties that couldn’t stand a second without a stallion at her side, and extremely flimsy and fragile. Those types of mares usually were the ones to pursue lead mare position for whatever reason. She did not get jealous or fight them, just feel inwardly smug and superior, but not show it. She sighed. Perhaps she was being stereotypical. She certainly would welcome mares with a brain. Altair had trust in Sept that he would find someone wise and strong, an addition to the herd, not a burden. She wondered what the new mare would be like, if Sept had any luck. Idly she let her mind wander and pillars meander through Astarte, no purpose really.
