Sept slowed as the ground became less firm, arriving at Astarte in a trot. He looked around, trying to spot Altair. With no avail, he looked behind him for a sight of Flyte. Again, no trace of the bay mares. Puzzled, he kept trotting until the waterfall was pounding in his ears once again. Spray from the falls was landing on the sandy banks, glittering the stones like they were polished. He was lost in himself for a bit, enjoying the peacefulness of the land. But then worry sprang up in him, a worry for both Altair and Flyte. Where had Altair gone, anyway, when he had left her standing here? And Flyte, was she still following her. He shook his head, turning from the large waterfall to see if they were both safe and well. He stood silently, a half-smile on his muzzle. Sept would wait as long as he had to just to see the both of them.

The canter which Flyte had set off from the claiming grounds in had now dissolved to a brisk walk. Unaccustomed as she was to such soft earth she didn't particularly want to go faster. A snort came from the femme as a result of exhaling quickly, platters treading with more care. A strange place but not unpleasant.. Shaking her poll to dislodge the chains which settled so stubbornly over her pools she raised her dial in the hopes of viewing Sept. Frustration mounted once again as she saw no trace of the brute, soon to pass as sound was caught. Pikemen now focused on the sound she allowed herself to move into a slow taunt of a trot, carrying her dial in a position which gave her the most advantage, not only with tracking the brute, who she'd lost sight of some way back, due to her mind firing yet more rebelious thoughts at her, but for comfort in her pace.
As the shape of Sept came into view she let a hint of a smile tug at her labrums, satisfied that she'd found him and impressed by the lands.. and the water. Giving a flick of her dial she allowed the trot to pick up slightly though it remained rather lazy, a slight sound leaving her maw so as to announce her arrival.

Altair spotted Sept.. and another arrive at Astarte. She calmly walked over to greet them. While Sept was gone she had been investigating the areas of Astarte he had pointed out, and taught herself the ways of Astarte. As she drew closer she got a better look at the new mare. A bay mare, beautiful one. By the way her muscles coursed with power was strong. And there was a possibility the new mare was wise, also. Altair would like to get to know this newcomer. Inclining her head in recognition of Sept, she turned to the other mare standing beside him. Greetings. I am Altair. She did not give off much emotion, but she wove a hint of welcome into her stance. Her questioning gaze rested on Sept, before the new mare.

[sorry it's taken so long, I was kicked off and didn't have enough time to log off]
A little surprised at the appearence of the both of them, Sept backed up a step. He smiled at Altair then looked at Flyte. She could introduce herself, Sept thought. He flicked his tail mindlessly, taking in the never-ending pound of the waterfall, but also the silence between the three of them. Tired of no talking, Sept turned to Flyte. Glad you made it here without harm. He said, acting like how a caring lead should. He was in fact glad she had made it. He looked at Altair again. Familiar with your new surroundings? He questioned, smiling yet.
[bad post too.]

Dipping her dial slightly in response to the vixen who's canvas mirrored her own Flyte allowed her own dubbance to be spoken, almost an automatic reaction,
And I'm Flyte.
It was hard to pinpoint any particular emotion in the tones with which Flyte spoke, as with her moods it was ever changing, only the basics remaining the same, and even then you couldn't be entirely sure what lay there... A slight smile played at her labrums as her previous reluctance to speak her dubbance came to mind. Perhaps it was natural to be more at ease in the company of mares? Something in the stance of Altair caused Flyte to abandon her usual stubborn manner and her previous promise to herself of more cooperation forbade her to engulf herself in cold silence once more, however tempting it might be.. Turning her gaze to the stag she watched him, her gaze reflecting both curiosity and appreciation with just a hint of her previous annoyance. Glad you made it here without harm.. Yet again she responded to his vocalization, tones consisting of mock annoyance, satisfaction and laced with teasing. Flyte herself was surprised by the fact she'd spoken without prompting,
You mean to say you didn't expect me to?
She was now pleased she'd followed, it was worth it purely to see the lands. Fore talon shifted slightly in the sod before coming to rest flat once more. Dial raising to its usual position upon slender curvature, pools drifting freely across the lands and between the two equines.

Oh, no. I'm only saying it to be a gentleman. Sept teased. His smile transformed into a pleased grin. These two mares weren't that bad of a company. He watching the horizon, waiting for something amazing to pop out. Like that'll happen. Sept yawned, blinking his eyes twice, squeezing them a matter of five seconds each time. It was tiring today. Somehow, it just was. He didn't want to leave the both of them, but he was just really tired. But he would have to stay up for right now and run everything through with Flyte, mostly about the sinkholes and best place to sleep. But why can't I sleep now... Sept's thoughts whined, echoing in his mind.
[okay, I'll be going too.]

A half-smile appeared on Altair's maw at the sleepiness of Sept and the look on Flyte that she had when she first discovered Astarte. She wasn't necessarily sleepy yet. Altair didn't know if she could get to sleep with the constant roar of the water falls in the background, but she had visited the place to sleep Sept had pointed out earlier, and the noise was reduced almost to nothing. If it agrees with you, Flyte and I will accompany Sept to the sleeping area, and I'll show Flyte the rest of Astarte I have yet discovered. It would give us a chance to.. make acquantances. She said to both of them. It seemed well enough to her.

Sept nodded, agreeing. Yes, that would be very helpful Altair. If it's okay by you, Flyte. He looked between the two mares, sleepy-eyed. Why did claiming mares and a land in the same day leave him so tired? Sept wondered, gazing at the waterfall in a trance. He didn't care what Flyte thought about the deal, but he would go to sleep anyway. He took up a lazy trot towards the grove of trees and laid himself down on the leaf-littered ground. Eventually, he just fell asleep.
[Sept'll be asleep while you two roleplay, kay?]

ooc.|lol. Sure..
Jet pools drifted over the sleepy stag, dial bobbing once,
Aye, Fine by me.
She smirked as Sept left them and turned her attention to Altair. Snorting softly she allowed her gaze to wander freely about the place, no matter how much you learned there was always more to find out.. it would be intersting to see how much Altair had discovered since her arrival in this land, more so to learn more of her. A hind shifted in the crust below as if the maid was eager to depart, part of Flyte, the same part that caused her to wish to be in control, demanded she go alone and learn alone but she ignored that part, if she wasn't informed about possible dangers she'd regret being so awkward..she usually did. Shaking her dial softly she looked at Altair with a gaze that reflected interest and a certain amount of expectance.

Altair almost snorted. Now she knew a lot about this mare.. by her snort, impatience, smirk, and overall stance. This mare was one of those cold beauties with her nose always in the air. She caught herself. It was too soon to jump to conclusions. Instead she kept her polite and controlled mask on. What do you wish to see first? There is the resting place, She said, indicating the direction Sept was headed a place for good grass, an area convenient for safe galloping, or would you prefer the more scenic sights? She inquired. Perhaps this mare was better than she thought, just didn't make a very good first impression. Altair had to admit, she herself could be a bit arrogant sometimes.

Flutes flicked in the direction of Altair as her mug took on a calmer expression for some odd reason she was full of energy, the total opposite of Sept. Looking at the dove before her she caught a hint of..something in her expression before she began to speak though she couldn't place it exactly. Concern flooded the doves mind momentarily, did she appear haughty? She hoped not. Being alone too long does nothing for a herd animal, had she been altered by it? Letting the matter drop for the moment she listened to Altair, seemed the lands were lacking in little. Allowing a hint of a smile to appear on her maw she replied,
A place for galloping sounds great.
Galloping was something Flyte took great pleasure in, as did most and so was the first thing in the list to catch her attention. As she watched Altair she began to take in more of the other, she seemed calm, but that was an impression gained merely through watching and listening. Hasty judging of others wasn't something Flyte did often, it often caused you to brand another as an enemy, only to find they would've made a better friend. Once again she dragged herself back to the present, the wanderings of the mind..

Altair grinned. Flyte did enjoy galloping as much as she did. She started trotting to the borderline between Indira and Astarte. She felt the ground grow more solid and the roar of the waterfalls was almost gone. A sudden temptation to run sparked in her, causing her to break into a gallop. She stretched her neck out in speed, extended her legs to their full length. A whinny of mischievious ecstacy was trumpeted through her maw. Then she realized she might wake Sept, and quieted down a bit. Should you like to join me in a pleasurable gallop? She asked Flyte.

The smile grew at Altair's take off, seemed they shared a love of galloping at least. Hearing the whinny she sent her own frame moving forwards, the pace progressing to a full gallop within seconds letting herself respond to Altair's question in the same moment,
Is it possible to turn down such an offer?
Thoughts were cast aside as the thrill of the exertion took over, pillars ever seeking more ground. Ebony tassels played about the femmes dial and occuli but she ignored them, engrossed in her movement, the land before her and Altair. She didn't however lose all thought, Flyte kept a great deal of her attention on Altair, drawing alongside her, a grin plastered across her mug, this was fun, shame it would have to end..

Seeing Flyte by her side, Altair kept her speed. She was not in for competition, just pleasure. Her Arabian body was built for speed, and she swiftly covered ground. The stretch was quite long, and good for a gallop. She dodged one of the sink-holes that had ended up in the stretch with ease. The air movement forced her mane and tail back. She kept leg with Flyte, before surging forth in an invitation to move a touch faster, to as fast as she could go. Soon she started working up a sweat, and she began to lather with the effort. Altair always enjoyed a good run. It was comforting to feel the power of her muscles tensing and releasing to push her off the ground. The world all seemed to stand still for the moment...
