Altair woke at dawn, oddly restless. There was a thick morning fog, along with the mist from the waterfalls and she almost got lost in it. Her limbs carried her around aimlessly, with no exact destination. She wondered when the others would rise, but did not try to stir them. The early sun had risen and its pale rays shone on Astarte.
ooc: Not very good, but oh well.

Don't. Sept murmured, eyes sewn shut. Aug.. Don't. It's me. His shoulder twitched, a look of pain coming across his face. I didn't mean- He choked, gasping for air. His eyes, bloodshot and frightened, were opened instantly. It was horrible. He frowned, looking around. Sept blinked, making sure his nightmare wasn't a reality. No, Flyte was there, asleep. Altair wasn't present, perhaps she had gone to graze. He stayed where he was, his head on the grass, slightly leaning to the side. He stared into space, the distant rumble of Astarte's waterfall in his ears. That nightmare.. He had had it once before, after he had been away from home. It had been a simple trick... He had only... Oh gah. Sept frowned, trying not to think of it. He got up, his legs steadying themselves after his weight had been rocked forward. They almost felt like jelly. He wobbled forward, finally straightening. He was always like that in the morning. Sept trotted far away from Flyte, making sure he didn't wake her. He tossed his head, enjoying the morning mists and coolness. He grinned, sliding to a halt as the waterfall became more clear in its sound. He saw a patch of bay close by. Altair. His grin turned into a fond smile. Mornin'. He said loudly, in case she was farther away than he thought.
[that's okay. n.n]

ooc: I've decided to have Altair speak in old english. I hope I'm using it correctly. It's fun, lol.
Altair grimaced. She was closer than he thought and it was a bit loud. She returned the smile.
Good morn' Sept. What stirs thee at such an hour?
She walked a short distance towards Sept, her hooves making a squishy and sucking sound in the sodden ground. Altair looked at the horizon. Great. By the looks of the cloud it was going to rain soon. She ought to get used to it by now, it's partly what gives Astarte so much of it's water. Reeds and other water plants brushed at her pillars, but she ignored them. Altair came to a halt next to Sept. He was somewhat hard to find, for his ashen coat blended in with the mist so well. She felt a hoof slowly sinking, and move to a harder and more supportive area.

[I'll make sept have a bit of a french accent. :3]
Sept kept his smile, tilting his head a bit. Just a dream. I've 'ad a couple of times before, not too pleasant. He frowned then at the reminder of the nightmare. He watched as she moved to his side and attempted a grin. Still, the dream flashed in his mind, just like the lightning that had flashed that night. Sept blinked, as if that would make it go away. He decided to focus on Altair. She was pretty this morning. The clouds moved in, grey and ladden with rainwater. He looked up as a slight rumble shook Astarte. There seems to be a storm coming, we better 'ead for cover. He suggested, turning around to start heading into the trees.

ooc: Let me know if this sounds wrong, lol. I'm no good at this. Something sounds wrong..
Such dreams are disturbing. What was thy dream?
The summer storm was quickly approaching, and did not object. She soon felt the shelter of the trees, and appreciated it as water started to fall from the sky in large quantities. Although it was raining, the tempature was still warm as it was summer. Altair watched as the land sucked up the water like a sponge. She half-smiled at that thought. She wondered if Flyte had awakened yet. With such a racket that the thunder made she was probably awake by now. She felt a touch of diziness as the trees swayed and moved with the wind.

Sept frowned, not really wanting to recollect it. It was.. It was just something that 'appened in the past that 'aunts me in the future. He looked up at the dismal sky, rain drops falling into the shelter, but not as bad as outside. It was soon pouring and a flash of light illuminated Astarte. Thunder boomed, though from a distance. The storm was leaving, it would only be a matter of time. Did you 'ave any dreams, Altair? He asked hastily, changing the subject. The rain fell on the leaves, moving over along the way.

ooc: lol, you're using it fine as far as I know..
Lids drifted free of mocha pools, allowing Flyte sight once more. Pillars were gathered underneath the maiden as she made to head away from the spot where she'd slept. Pools looked around, somewhat blearily but as of yet she could see no sign of Sept or Altair, most likely off wandering. Giving a soft snort, as if confirming the fact, poll was shaken roughly, tassels dislodged form where they had lain, slick to her serpentine. Shaking herself free of the slumber which still drifted about the fringes of her mind she took the time to stretch her limbs, waking them too if you like. Thorns pinned at the sound of thunder, though distant, Flyte instantly looking to the blanket overhead and the rain she rolled her eyes, just up and already something was happening.. a smile played about her maw, never a dull moment..

Sept's ears flattened as another rumble of thunder hit. He turned, hearing Flyte. Despite himself, he smiled. Sept nodded to Altair to dismiss himself to go see her. He saw the bay mare off to the side, watching the storm. It'll subside soon, just a summer storm. He said mindlessly, gazing at the sky as well. He looked back at Flyte, tilting his head in interest. Good mornin' Flyte. He said airily, walking closer to her. She seemed to just have woken up. It was turning out to be an interesting morning, the storm and all. Summer was an interesting month, but he couldn't wait until it was winter. Winter was favored by Aqua horses. But he had a ways to wait until Winter... He looked at Flyte again, that smile still on his muzzle.

Altair stared out over the horizon, lost in thoughts and memories. She shuddered and turned back to Sept.. but he had left. She blinked, but turned to follow Sept. Then she stopped. Perhaps he would just like some time with Flyte, without her prescence. Hesitating, Altair stayed where she was and walked over to crop some grass. It was nice and sweet, for Astarte had an ever-lasting supply of water and it was the summer-time, so the combination made perfect grazing conditions. She would have to step into the rain in order to get much more, because the grass was deprived of much sunlight under the trees. After a little while she walked over in what she thought was Sept and Flyte's general direction.

Sept's ears swiveled at the sound of someone approaching, that someone Altair. He smiled at her, beckoning her closer so he could talk to both mares. The two mares were probably friends by now, so there was nothing more he could say. Sept blinked, the rumbling becoming more far off. The storm was leaving. Once last strike of lightning hit Astarte then silence, well as much silence as you could get with the waterfall. Water dropped from the leaves of the trees, leaving puddles on the more saturated ground. Sept walked forward a ways, his hooves disrupting a small puddle, sending ripples like little waves through-out it. He frowned, picking up that foot. He turned around to face Altair and Flyte. It was empty, his little Aqua herd. Sure enough, Altair and Flyte were the best company he had found in while. No. There were other stallions who needed mares. He would be happy with the two.

Flyte raised her dial on Sept's arrival, bobbing it slightly in greeting,
Morning
She responded though her attention remained fixed on the rain. Turning her dial she made herself look in his direction, for she didn't wish to appear rude. At the sounding of more footfalls she shook her poll lightly, Altair. Flutes remained trained on the two others for a moment longer before flicking forwards seemed the storm had chosen to leave them. She stepped forwards a little so she stood level with Sept, snorting lightly as her flints sunk into the wet ground.

ooc: Again, if there's something wrong with the old english I'm attempting to have Altair speak, please let me know.
Sept seemed to beckon for Altair to come forth, while Flyte didn't seem to care. Altair almost snorted as Flyte shook her cranium when she spotted Altair. Typical of her, Altair thought. Her velvets parted to greet them both politely.
Morning Sept, Flyte. How art thou?
The clouds had finally parted and the sun had begun to show. Altair watched as the water began to evaporate, even more mist was put into Astarte. Although the early morning mist had started to clear. Her sensitive nares took in the wonderful, wet smell after rain. The boom of thunder had progressed to the horizon, and was slowly growing fainter. She turned her gaze back to Sept and Flyte.
ooc: Wow, I wrote more than I thought. 11 lines.
